Every women and family deserves support
Birth is a collaborative effort that can often involve many moving parts. Mom, baby, support system and providers need a certain level of harmony to help bring about a cohesive transition from one chapter of life into another. Finding all of those moving parts that work well together can be a large undertaking. You should not have to compromise your values and beliefs in order to find quality care.
Adding a doula to your team is a great way to help define those values and balance out the inherent uncertainty that comes with any birth! But what is a doula? We are professional observers, hand holders, hip squeezers, cheer leaders, master maneuverers, shoulders to lean on (literally and metaphorically), megaphones to amplify your voice, personal advocates, educators and so much more! While we are not medical professionals we are often a bridge between the different sides of birth.
There are many proven benefits to having a doula at your birth and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! If you are ready to jump in feet first let’s connect!
Thoughts from my clients…
Working with Aspen was great—we felt fully supported and loved throughout our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. She also provided lots of education, books, resources, and tools to help us through having our baby. Her care for us was evident in every aspect; she even brought us a delicious meal after we had our little girl!
